Our optician masters determine your visual acuity. We perform examinations and measurements of your entire eye, check the condition of your cornea, examine your retina, check the eye pressure – every detail is examined and integrated into the therapy for a premium treatment.
Since diagnosis is at least as important as the treatment itself, we rely exclusively on branded products from companies such as ZEISS when selecting our diagnostic devices, which thus always offer us the latest possibilities to support us in making the findings. The pupillometer records the diameter of your pupils both in daylight and at dusk.
In addition to the classic refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism), higher-order imaging errors are also recorded.
As you are already used to from an ophthalmologist or optician, your personal visual acuity is determined.
We use this colour-based measurement to determine a large amount of data about your cornea. In this way, corneal curvatures or possible diseases of the cornea as well as their thickness can be determined exactly.
If there is a higher-order visual defect that could not previously be satisfactorily corrected with glasses, we will carry out a wavefront measurement to enable you to see as well as possible with the laser treatment.
